The Åland Maritime Museum has launched a digital archive, where, among other things, the Pommern ship journals and the Åland muster rolls can be read as original documents wherever you are.
In our digital archive you can find muster rolls, seamen’s registers and ship’s records. The documents from our archive have been photographed or scanned and can be read as original text. The digitization of selected parts of the archive is an ongoing project and new material is published continuously. At this stage of the digitization project, material from the Mariehamn and Vårdö Seamen’s House is published.
