The proud sailing ship Pommern has finally opened for the season. In May Pommern is open every day from 11 am to 4 pm. Last entry on board is 3 pm. Buy your ticket at the Maritime Museum.
Travel the world without having to leave Mariehamn – aboard Pommern you are taken on a different voyage around the world. Joing the ship’s annual grain trade voyage to Australia. Experience life onboard by eavesdropping on the crew, participate in the work and feel Nature’s power over man in a unique audio-visual installation.
The best way for kids to discover Pommern is by following the world’s greatest ship’s rat – Ruby – who shares all her best-kept secrets aboard. Schhhh… don’t tell the grown-ups!
During May, the Åland Maritime Museum and Pommern are open 11am-4pm, last embarkation on Pommern is at 3pm.
